Café 88, Hotel Blue’s vibrant street-side Café, showcases espresso coffee from beans roasted locally in the Blue Mountains and a wide selection of teas from Toby’s Estate. Also on offer are a range of fresh sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, cakes and sweets.
On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, a casual dinner menu is also available from Hotel Blue’s Lounge and Parlour Bar, just upstairs from Café 88. This mouth-watering menu is complemented by a wide range of local and regional wines, beers, ciders and spirits, plus a selection of 1920s-inspired cocktails. There is live jazz or blues in the Lounge every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening (free admission) and most Sunday evenings as well.

Café 88 is also the home of Café Cinema. As a celebration of Hotel Blue’s early twentieth century heritage, Café 88 continuously plays a selection of silent black-and-white films and cartoons. View a full programme of silent movies featuring the talents of Charlie Chaplin, Max Linder, Buster Keaton, Fatty Arbuckle, George Melies and more, with a smattering of classic Betty Boop and Felix the Cat cartoons thrown in for good measure.
