Hotel Blue’s vibrant street-side Café 88 is the home of Café Cinema. As a celebration of Hotel Blue’s early twentieth century heritage, Café 88 continuously plays a selection of silent black-and-white films and cartoons. View a full programme of silent movies featuring the talents of Charlie Chaplin, Max Linder, Buster Keaton, Fatty Arbuckle, George Méliès and more, with a smattering of classic Betty Boop and Felix the Cat cartoons thrown in for good measure.

There are short black-and-white films and cartoons playing continuously all day, every day, during the Café’s opening hours. There are also special screenings of feature-length films from the early 1900s-1930s on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6:30 pm. Upcoming feature film screenings include:
